I wish to not sound too fawning but... I'm honoured that you wrote a story for me John, thank you.
Loved the Hamster sexing job.
What can I say but, thank you again.

Message | Easy skill, and therefore to be admired. I'm sure it didn't flow as easy as it appeared to, but then, that's probably the point.
If I ever used the word 'prognostication' in a piece, then I prognosticate I may have to shoot myself.
And lastly...a mucky feather and sex = literary success?

To recap:
The style of the piece was easy and projected an air of effortless skill, which only comes with doing a shit load of writing. It's, surely, what we aim for? So that's a point for the home team. (Hence the 9 rating.)
Prognosticate is me being picky. I hate the word. (Can one hate a word?) In this case, yup. It reminds me of a Mack truck in a go-cart race.
And the last point was me having a gentle dig about the emotional roller-coaster which is the average poet.
Down in the dumps one moment, then a quick tumble in the sack, or the appearance of an obscure muse, and hey hey, it's all, "And lo, the dawnbreak of her beauty, crashing through the ether of my darken existence, shattering the image of what I was."
Etc etc
Summing up tho: Good piece! I liked it! =)

Message | Thanks Moya.
The text actually needs a bit of editing in places, but it took so much manipulation in photoshop to get files that I could upload that would appear correctly that I'm too lazy to go through it all again at the moment :-) | |
