My face is the most interesting thing I have ever seen. Now you may look in the mirror and think this and that, but for my money, pound for pound, my facial features are the most fascinating arrangement of all time.

Fiction: The Freshman - by ian *NEW AUTHOR* Welcome this new UKA author (4518 words) - Date online (25-04-2003)
Novel Excerpts

This Adult Comedy is entitled The Freshman, and this perfectly describes the central character, an extremely handsome though innocent young man named Eric Blake, who doesn’t even recognise his innate appeal that so draws the opposite sex. Unfortunately for him the women who enter his life do, and most of these mean to have their share of him, or their pound of flesh, some in the form of a take-away. The novel deals with the concept of female supremacy, rather than the more familiar issues of female equality, but nevertheless remains very much a Comedy.

Fiction: The Girl Who Ran Away - by Kazzmoss (4343 words) - Date online (05-04-2003)
Drama

I have rejigged this, tightened it up and taken about a 100 words out.

Every year hundreds of people go missing. Have you ever wondered why people do this? What happens to the people they leave behind, but more inportantly what drives them to do what they do? This is one such story. Amanda left her home in Manchester and eventually made a new life for herself in Scotland. It wasn't till she saw her face on the television that she realised it was time to face her past.

Drama

I've put this under fiction because it's a story. This is one of my pieces that means the most to me. It's not much of a story and doesn't have a fantastically gripping end, but it's just the way it happened. Sometimes love goes beyond being with someone and beyond physical contact. Sometimes it just IS.
