I was challenged by a friend to write a story out of the random 67 words beginning with T we had come up with the night before. this is my effort.

This is a short story about one person's abuse against another. Ann uses her life long ambition to become a teacher as a means of escape but to her delight finds that a more satisfactory way affords her the opportunity of becoming free.

In response to the Prose Workshop challenge: Colony I have now tweaked the final half-dozen lines (or added them in the main). I think and hope it's an improvement to the ending...

My entry for the weekly challenge, which was FOG.

To Paradise by way of Schenectady.

This is actually Hope in a Bottle Part II. I'm thinking of trying to write 500-1000 worders tracing the bottle's progress. It may not work, but it's a kind of writing exercise anyway. This is about as much science fiction as say... A Canticle for Leibowitz.

Would appreciate any feedback - trying to get back into some writing again, and it's been a while since I last posted so was a bit unsure of the formatting for uploading.

Now, what sort of story is this? Black humour, maybe. A touch of 'fifties sci-fi with a lot of things you'll recognise. Make up your own mind! ;)

Little Lord Lucifer has an afterlife to run. The story is short (and nowhere near as bad as you might think) but sublimely hellish.

It's a Spanish word meaning foreigner, it's not very polite.
