I always get in trouble for posting this sort of thing, but hey, I'm a rebel without a clause. I like it, and that's good enough for me. I enjoy speed writng, I never know what's going to spill out. Did I really have that inside my head? Thank heavens it's out now!

This story is about a young married woman called Neena.She marries according to the wishes of her parents and finds herself in strange marriage where she constantly rebuked and made fun of by her husband.She looses her entire self esteem and sense of pride for herself and feels lost and lonely.

I was sort of transfixed as I looked at it, so much so that I didn't work out where it ended and the box began.

A story that everyone will have their own version of. This is one of mine.

It's as good a story as any.

This is a repost... I've cut this longish short story into two parts...The inspiration (if you can call it that) came from the many murders that have been happening in the city in the last few years, that too within families...

Jessica's never been a great mage like her mother, or even a passable one. She struggles with simple spells of changing frogs into humans, to conjuring flowers. When he mother goes into hospital and she's sent to study with her aunt, Sophie, Jessica can't see herself improving much in two weeks. But when she gets a disturbing prophecy from Fairy Lake and her aunt's house taken over by an enchantress, Jessica's lack of magical skill goes from being an annoyance to life-threatening.
