The diary of an ordinary girl.

Started as a contest challenge on canines, way over the allowed word count.

An Australian jewel smuggler gets in over his head and winds up biting off more than he can chew. This not a halloween type horror, but I think it will make your flesh crawl.

...drink some herbal tea or something, all this high drama is wearing thin; evil puppets, death masks, demonic scalpers, it's like meeting Edgar Allen Poe on a peyote binge. It's not that I think you're lying just try and see things through a lens more rational.”

Time for a break...

This is not a short story, its part of a novel I am writing. I have broken it down so as to make it easy to read on screen. If you think its worth the read I will post the other parts. Please feel free to comment. This part of the action takes place in Afghanistan.

This is my story in response to the current challenge in the Workshop Challenges/Writing Exercises forum: "A story about someone who has forgotten something in their past and remembers, or is reminded of it." I hope you like it.

I don't know where the idea for this short story came from other than that my younger brother met the same fate as Alison in the story. Maybe I hope that things are more like this and not so final.

A write which is a bit long for this site. It is a story about the First World War. The main character Jack I would have loved to write with a broad Yorkshire accent, but I think most people would not have understood him.

I haven't posted for a while so thought I'd get something out there. This is a section (work in progress) of what will be book two. Right after I finish book 1. I think it stands on its own though.

The parents of two young children Grace and Benjamin living in a southern state of America hear strange noises in the night. What do the children know about these noises? The siblings find a secret place. No-one knows about the 'Temple.' Will they find solace or danger lurking?
