It's hard to move on, sometimes. We all cling to and wish for our more carefree days - but it's dangerous territory. Adult themes... Not suitable for children! 2,710 words.

I have asked for no crit on this please. It was knocked out very quickly and I will no doubt return to it. I just felt the need to post something. Any comments will of course be appreciated. 'After the farce of hanging the corpse, it would have been buried in the prison grounds'

chapter two

A man gets stuck in a lift on the way to a job interview. Some chemistry, some antagonism, some climbing of lift shafts, a fire alarm and a heart attack add to the mix.

Part 2 of the life of a London gallery owner. Of course, comments on my little dabblings are more welcome than golden trinkets falling from the sky. Please continue on from Pt 2. This part is more an exposition on the protagonists character rather than any real plot development (which comes next) so I hope you don't find it mundane. It forms part of the opening chapter of a novel. --------------

A young man is widowed on the eve of his anniversary. The story is told through answer machine messages which he leaves for his dead wife, and follows his life as he tries to put the pieces back together.

First part of a humorous novel whose protagonist is a London gallery owner. Takes a look at the art scene and its cuffufels. Starts off slightly from leftfield and it may be hard to find ones bearings without reading the subsequent part, but, anyway... Let me know what you think.

I'm a casual writer - this is a story I wrote on a whim about a month ago. It's the emotionally wrenching tale of a normal guy who accidentally discovers that 1 equals 2, and the horrific consequences thereof. It's not quite finished, but ends on an exciting cliffhanger - I'll try to resolve it some time. I know what's going to happen, I just haven't written it yet. Any comments, no matter how harsh, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A story i got inspiration from after reading a book called the raging quiet i highly recamend it to anyone.

LATEST EDITION POSTED SEPTEMBER 15TH. Though I've placed this story in the drama catagory, it might also have a home in horror, or even experimentation. Themes of isolation within marriage are the focus here, and the horror that incurs when that isolation becomes personified. Criticisms welcome.

First section of novel Childless - Joe: his life, loves and precursors

This is a story i am working on set around ten yrs in the future. it follows a young man with a complicated life which forms the meat of the story and in the end is the message. Basically a new computer program named real time is released and it has profound effects on society leading to people not doing their jobs properly including politicians which currounds the deeper storyline! please read and tell me ur thoughts!

Jenny's life had been taken over by Louis. Looking after Louis, trying to understand Louis, wondering why Louis was such a handful; apologising for Louis, crying about Louis. Then one day .......

This is the first chapter of something I'm working on but I'm starting to think it should be the first scene. I'd appreciate any thoghts on that. You'll have to excuse the lack of any particular style - I'm having some trouble convincing this one to do what it's told!

This is only the first of three parts of the first book of a trilogy (IE., there's another two parts to this book, alone). I am interested in feed back - its a sci-fi, for sci-fi fans who are of a post teenage bracket and wanted the Star Wars films to be made for us and our bachelor friends rather than eight year olds and their families. The premise is set a thousand years in the future and mankind has spread into the galaxy, but has not yet encountered intelligent life. So the story opens. Bit cheesey as an opening idea, but it gets darker and nastier later on. First chapter just lets you get to know life in the third millennium and then the plot starts kicking in. Am thinking of re-writing the introduction, but let us know. Cheers much, Gaz.
