are borrowed from friends of mine on another site.

Wasn't quite sure how to class this one so opted for experimental.Based on the myth that a person's soul 'hangs around' for two weeks after they've died to comfort the bereaved. This was my first attempt at a short story.

I've submitted this so that people can compare it with the second version - Tasting Teresa (and because Claire asked me to, mainly!). Please don't read it if you are offended easily.

A young man and a young woman meet when they are involved in a road accident. After the anger and recriminations they start to 'notice' each other. Is this the start of a new romance; or is it something else altogether?

Look upon this only at face value, it's content may have a different meaning for each reader. I don't know whether this could be classed as a story.. for now I have called it fiction. It began it's exhistance as diary/log entries but now I feel that combined with more excerps I would like it to work as a monologue.

This the second draft of a story I submitted few months ago, called then and now 'Mardi Gras'. Thanks to e-Griff, Sirat and some others who I've forgotten :-( for their comments. Here is the finished version (gulp). (All spellings here are American.)

He was afraid. Very afraid.

I saw a squirrel with a piece of plastic around it's middle and got the idea for this story. I wrote it for my seven year old granddaughter she loves squirrels.

I wasn't sure whether this was best filed under Experimental or Erotica. A coming of age set against a backdrop of Thomas Hardy's Far From the Madding Crowd.

The satire continues with part two of Labour Farm.
